This spring semester course beginning in January 2024 will teach students (12+) about 5 virtues embodied through the lives of 10-15 Eastern and Western saints. After comparing the saints and contemplating the virtues the students will then find someone in their daily lives that strive to embody the particular virtue they are studying. They will then write a hagiography of that everyday saint modeled after the hagiographies of the Saint. The five virtues to be studied are gratitude, courage, humility, temperance, and charity.
